Summer hype is mounting! (Update on summer releases!)

Hey there, friends! I'm Jonathan, a self-proclaimed dreamer, and I'm starting to get excited for this summer! Of course, there is always a lot of hype around the summertime, kids get to be out of school for a few months, and of course, there are a few big game releases to come out! It's typically not as big of a time for releases as November is, right around the holiday season, but there are always a few big releases. A few years ago, we got Control and Astral Chain , and then a year or two after that, we got Paper Mario and the Origami King  and Ghost of Tsushima . This year has already had a few great releases, and is looking to have a pretty exciting summer as well, so I just wanted to take some time this week to talk a little bit about some games that I'm looking forward to that are coming up in the next several months. Of course, we have already had news of a few major delays, such as Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 and Starfield , but hopefully those

Disney Stardew Valley? (Disney Dreamlight Valley thoughts)

Hey there, friends! As you know, I'm Jonathan, a Self-Proclaimed Dreamer, so dreams are constantly on my mind, which makes today's topic a delight to talk about. Disney Dreamlight Valley is a new free-to-play game that was just introduced a few weeks ago that seems to have all the charm of life-simulators such as Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley, but with a Disney coat of paint. There's not a whole lot of information about it yet, but the more that I look into this game, it looks much more than that. Based on some of the writings on the official blog for the game, as well as the article written by IGN's Jeffrey Vega, I'll try to give you all a little information on what this game might be like when it comes out. Let's discover this magical, cursed, valley together, and see what we can do to break this curse! A Dreamer's Paradise gone wrong!     According to the first trailer that came out a few weeks ago, "there once was a dream world in which f

The most unexpected film franchise... (Sonic the Hedgehog Movie in review)

Movies based on video games have a very... rough track record, from the abysmal Super Mario Bros movie to the alright, but slightly lackluster Ratchet and Clank movie from just a few years ago, there is one game that honestly beat all the odds and ended up being a pretty decent movie. It wasn't anything earth-shattering, but just the fact that it worked and was a legitimately entertaining and heartwarming romp of a buddy-roadtrip movie was good enough for me. On top of all the perfectly serviceable story were a lot of easter eggs and fun nods for fans of the Sonic franchise as a whole, which was a lot of fun. Enough charging my spin dash though, it's time to actually talk a bit about this really fun movie, which begins with the classic Sega jingle. One slightly altered origin story, please?     The story of Sonic the Hedgehog begins with young Sonic on his home planet (It's not said to be Mobius, but it does look like it), where he lives with an owl named Longclaw,

I'm sorry... did you say reverse launch? (Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind thoughts)

Hey there, friends! I'm back this week with one of my favorite topics, Disney World. More specifically, I'm back to talk about a new attraction coming to Epcot on May 27, 2022. It's a roller coaster called "Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind" which is occupying the space that used to be filled with Ellen's Energy Adventure, and before that, just as "Universe of Energy". While I loved "Ellen's Energy Adventure," I am able to recognize that the ride was getting up there in years and probably had a lot of technical issues that were happening more and more often. I'll just have to keep that dream Jeopardy game in my head for as long as I can, it's a good thing I called the number to get the home version at least! Today we're setting our sights on this new attraction though, and while I must admit that I still don't really like the thought of the East Coast's first Marvel attraction being added to Epcot of all pl
