Finally a look at what this game is! (The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom gameplay recap!)

Alright, friends, it's time for a big deal. Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild came out about 6 years ago now, and we finally only have just over a month remaining until The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom . This week is big because we're finally getting to see actual footage of the game after they released 3 or 4 trailers full to the brim with hints of what we'll be seeing in this game. What all did they show off this week? Let's take a little look. The video is just over 10 minutes long, so I definitely suggest you check it out if you are interested in this game, and if not, hopefully I'll be able to sum it up in a meaningful and interesting way. Let's activate one of Link's new powers and "Recall" the presentation, shall we? Link can even make a hovercraft apparently!  Similar World, but new powers!     Going into this game, we knew that this game would follow the same Link and Zelda that were in Breath of the Wild , and they would

Back to one of my favorite topics! (Disney Update time!)

Hey friends, as I've said before, my blog is mainly about video games, movies, TV shows, and theme parks. It has been a really long time since I wrote about parks, and even longer since I've been able to write about new things happening in the Disney Parks, especially the ones in the US. I'm happy to say that as of a few days ago, both Walt Disney World and Disneyland both got new additions to the park, some more substantial than others, and so we'll talk about them both a bit today! This will just be on the two biggest things that happened recently, but I do have to give a quick shout out to the giant statue/topiary of Te Fiti from Moana over in Epcot. Epcot has obviously been under some major construction in the last few years, but it's nice whenever we get a new hint at things coming along there. With that out of the way, let's head to Anaheim for our first new development! If nothing else, this ride certainly looks amazing! Mickey's Toontown: Back i

If you want to be a hero, then be one! (Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion in review)

Final Fantasy VII is obviously a hot topic right now, as it always is, but especially since the remake arrived on the scene back in 2019. Over the next few years, we're getting parts 2 and 3 of the remake (as the game labeled as Final Fantasy VII Remake really only covered the first area of the original game) with the second part called Final Fantasy VII Rebirth , and the third game which hasn't had a title revealed. In the meantime, We got Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion , a remaster of a PSP game which tells the story of Zack Fair, an incredibly influential character to the lore of Final Fantasy VII , even if he doesn't directly contribute to the actual proceedings of the game. Out of respect for all of my friends who have never played Final Fantasy VII , I won't be touching on a lot of the lore of this game, just because it gives away some strange plot development for that game, and that's also why I will say you'll get much more enjoyment out

Bayonetta is always bayonuts! (Bayonetta 3 in review!)

Image
Bayonetta started out as a series during the PS3 and Xbox 360 era, following the vein of Devil May Cry and other action games of that kind, and along with all that, we got a character who definitely stands out from the crowd, and maybe even more so than Dante in that series. Bayonetta is a wild series with a lot of weird quirks and outstanding characters, as well as some incredibly satisfying fast-paced combat. These games are tough in general, though the third one is the easiest by far I would say. You know, I'll just get into it, because I really love the series as a whole, even though my thoughts of the third game are not quite as glowing as the first two. I hope you're wearing your dancing shoes, because we're going to dance today! Let's Dance, Boys!     Bayonetta 3  continues the story of Bayonetta, an Umbra Witch who dances to summon demons with her hair (among other things). In the first two games, she dealt with the forces of Chaos and Paradiso (think of

Sweet, Sweet Victory! (Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake in review)

Are ya ready, kids? I certainly am! When I was a little kid in maybe Third or Fourth Grade, Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom came out, and unlike most licensed games of the time, it was actually a lot of fun. It wasn't based on any one episode, but more just focused on the concept of Spongebob  and traveling to several different locations from the show while defeating robots that Plankton accidentally created. Obviously many years have passed since then, but thanks to speedrunners and just overall nostalgia for the Gamecube, PS2, and Xbox era, a few years ago they released a remake of that game, Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated . This was more or less the same game that was put out so long ago, but it looked a lot better with the new hardware. This time, there were a few glitches that weren't present in the original game (one hilarious one allowed you to teleport to the final boss from the beginning, and made the speedrun time abou
